Jhan Fleischer, President and Owner
A Summit County native, at 17 years old Jhan started working for a Stan Miller Inc., the largest excavating business in the Rocky Mountain region. Here he learned heavy diesel and truck mechanics and at age 18 obtained his class A CDL. Within a couple years he became proficient at operating a lowboy hauling heavy equipment.
In 1997, he entered the Navy as an Aviation Mechanic. When his enlistment ended he moved to Portland, OR to attend Portland Community College and Hillsboro Aviation. While attending college full time, Jhan continued to drive trucks and fly helicopters as much as possible. He returned to Colorado in 2005 with the intent and determination to start his own business.
In March of 2006, with one dump truck Jhan started Fleischer's Specialty Transport, LLC. In 2013 the business grew so quickly that Jhan converted the company from a sole proprietorship to a corporation known as Fleischer's Transport Corporation (FTC). By the end of 2014, he had five trucks hauling out of Colorado, Wyoming, and Nebraska.
My goal is to be the best trucking company in the central rocky mountains of Colorado. I want customers to call us because of our values and the quality of service only we can provide. I want to teach drivers what I know so they can be safe, efficient and courteous. In turn, I want to learn everything that I can to be a better leader and owner. I want to be a successful business man who truly cares about his company. It is imperative to have the right people so I can become such a person. I want to have my company become a stable and viable entity not only for its employees but for the community that it is associated within. I always have an open door and will strive to make the best of every opportunity.
